We finally were able to bring home the new car. Never did we think we would want to, or be able to , order a brand new car. It's not the fanciest car, not the most desirable, but so far we love it, and have zero regrets. It was ordered with group package 14 that includes push button start, power driver seat, eyesight and cross traffic, moonroof, and adaptive cruise. As well as remote start and exterior fog lights.
This is the last year of the current body style, and powertrain. It has the EJ2.0, and a 7 speed CVT transmission. Getting 30 MPG average on our 1st 3 tanks of regular fuel.
Loving the 5 door and hatch. kids can get in and out real nice, and its a decent size exterior wise than the passat we were driving.
On our 1st Road trip, less than 1k miles on the car, we took a rock to windshield, it will need to be replaced now as it has a 12" crack along the face. Frustrating, but what do you do.
Ordered some New wheels and tires for it.
Should be here mid May.
Going to schedule it for tints, 35% flavor, and get it all logo'd up. Hoping this one sticks around for a few years.
