Saddle Up Work Party & Documentation Run

Volunteer Opportunity! 

As some of you know, we got involved in the Tillamook State Forest as part of the OHV parks Adopt a Trail program. We are going to head up the the Tillamook State Forest to check trail conditions, document it in the shape it was when acquired by the group, and hang the rest of the missing signs. The Cascade Cruisers poker run in at the end of the month and id like to get this phase all wrapped up before participants hit the hill. its a key point in the forest and has been unmarked for a couple seasons now. 

Meetup at the Rogers Staging Area. just past rogers camp, on your left, right at the top of the pass. As soon as you exit the highway, the staging area will be at the to of the hill, on your left. Mile Post 32ish DO NOT FOLLOW THE MAP TO POINT, IT ONLY GETS YOU CLOSE!

9am Sunday September 22nd. Driver meeting at 9:30 hitting the trail shortly there after. Probably shoot up the main line all the way to the trail. so as we can get our eyes on. This Will be a stocker friendly style run. Altough our trail is a Single Black Diamond designated trail (difficult) we will use the moderate, and moderate bypass of the trail taking us to the center point for those who do not want to fair the "Gate Keeper"(s)

Please bing your normal prepardness packout. CB Raido Prefered, Handheld and/or HAM as backup. Oregon ATV permit, and Insurance required to be in trails in oregon so be prepared there. Gloves, Lunch (we pack 2 for eahch person) cameras, and a good attitude. Lets go have some fun. 

Your volunteer hours start the moment we leave the staging area, to the moment we get home. All hours turned into the Oregon Department Of Forestry.
